Hi fellow Dissers. :wave2:

I will be using a relatives digital camera when I go to WDW but I do not have a laptop for nightly downloading. I would like to take as many pics as possible. I read somewhere there are Kodak Picture Express places in WDW for downloading pictures on to CDs. Here's my questions:

1. Where are these Express locarions located (parks, resorts, Downtown Disney, etc.).

2. How much does it costs per download.

If anybody knows please answer. Bringing home disks with lots of pictures sounds better than a memory card with only a little. Yes, 75 +/- pics may be too few, especially for six nights.

Thanks all.

I was just going to ask the same !! question!! I hope there will be some responses...........I too am seeing a camera with the 64MB stick that provides 106 photos..........I can do that in a few hours! ha (let alone an entire vacation).........

found some information on allearsnet.com.....
There are two locations to have your digital pictures transferred from memory cards/sticks to disk. The shop in the Kodak-sponsored Journey Into Imagination Pavilion features a full-service photographic lab. Transferring up to 120 images to a disk costs $11.99 plus tax, and $5.99 plus tax for up to 120 additional images. Prints are $.69 each. (Prices subject to change.) You may also drop off your digital media for transfer at The Darkroom on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney-MGM Studios. The cards are sent to the lab at the Imagination Pavilion for transfer, and must be in by 12:00 noon. They are returned at 5:00 pm. Transfer only takes two hours if you go directly to the lab in Imagination.

Uploading to a computer for e-mailing may be available at the business centers of the resorts featuring convention and meeting space, such as the Yacht and Beach Clubs, the Swan and Dolphin, the Grand Floridian, Coronado Springs, or the Contemporary. Call the resorts' business centers before making the trek to make sure they have computers available for Guest use. You will need to bring your own card reader. There will be a per-hour charge for use of these computers, which can be expensive.

Thanks for the info Hermosa11.:D

Hopefully MK will have a shop like the one at Epcot. I don't want to stop by Epcot everyday or two. I do have two 64MB cards though.

Thanks again!!

$11.99 is quite expensive for transferring from a memory stick to a CD - and this is only for the 1st 120 pictures. By the time you do this twice, you could have bought another 64mb card.

There is a Walgreens across Hotel Plaza Blvd. from DTD that has a digital kiosk and will do this for $3.99 for as many prints as your CD will hold. I did this once and they even let me do it for free because I brought my own blank CD. Sometimes they have an ad in their weekly flyer with a coupon for this.

The address is
13502 APOPKA VINELAND
ORLANDO,FL 32821

It is probably best not to try to walk there, though, it would be a long walk and you would have to go under the I-4 overpass. Their phone number is (407) 827-1000. They are open every day 8am - 10pm.
