Two Christmases ago we saw two celebs...well, three actually. While waiting for Soarin' our line was held up. We were lined up for the left-hand side of the ride, but our line was told to turn around and head to the right-hand side, where we continued to wait and wait and wait. Figuring the ride must have broken down, we were deciding our plan of action.
Finally, we were allowed on the ride, where we sat even longer (not typical for Soarin', where riders are usually rushed through. The middle row of the middle section was empty until Courtney Cox and David Arquette and their daughter and family members were seated and buckled in. Walking out of the ride we ended up next to them. I didn't say anything because I think that celebs in the park are just there to have a good time and enjoy Disney, not be mobbed by fans. They did have a plaid with them.
Later that night, my husband and I were sitting in the Napa Rose, enjoying a glass of wine, when Guy Fieri from the Food Network walked through. He'd been filming a holiday special that aired this past Christmas. We saw him later in CA Adventure, where fans were trailing him for autographs. In both places he was very polite and kind to the people around him. Guy did not have a plaid with him.
I plaid watch when I'm in the parks, knowing there is a good chance someone famous will be with them. My dream would be to see the cast of Glee (they do frequent Disney, often as a group).
