Know anything about Busch Gardens Williamsburg?

A good friend of mine (ie fellow Disney addict!) at work is thinking of skipping her annual Thanksgiving trip to WDW (don't panic, she's still going in July, lol) and going to Williamsburg. What she's wondering is this....are they even open that time of year? We know it snows there, and since we don't have that problem here, we're not sure how it affects things...So, are they open at that time, and if so, how is it there? Neither of us have ever been, so any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a wonderful theme park. We have annual passports. The season opens in mid March and closes at the end of Oct.
