Know anything about beezid?

Seen a commercial for beezid and was just wondering if anyone here has used them before? Or are they a scam auction?

Beezid makes you pay to bid. For example you have to buy bids, usually around $1.00 each. So each time you bid it costs you $.70. Beezid may sell a $500.00 item for $100.00 (losing $400 on it) but as long as 400+ bids were cast they have broken even. I say one $500.00 item sell for $90.00 but it had 1200+ bids. So beezid lost $410.00 on it, but make $1200+ dollars just on the bidding. They're betting they will get more individual bids than what they lose on the item.

It's not really a scam, but you have to bid what your gonna pay and at the last second.

Do a search for it on Yahoo or Google. I looked it up and found out it's not all it's cracked up to be. It may look like you only have to pay $.50, but you have to pay a certain amount per bid (plus shipping). So it's a lot more complicated (and expensive) than it seems.
