We are travelling to Disneyland in a little less than a month - we won't have our own car so thought that may book Grayline trip to and from the DLR area (HoJo's) - I know it is free transportation with full price admission.

However I found a coupon via Mousesavers for $10 off per person - there are 3 adults in our party so I wondered if a taxi there and back would be less than $30 or maybe we can take a regular bus. Also it would be a better option if the Grayline arrived at the park gates way after park opening and left before the park closed (which is what happened in Florida when we took the free bus to Busch Gardens - the lines were really long when we got there and we had to leave an hour before the park closed)

Taxi from HoJo's is about $25 to Knotts.
There is also public transportation right on Harbour in front of DL entrance that will take you to Knotts, It runs very early to very late. 5am to 11:30pm om weekends and is only $1.50 pp.

The route is MTA 460 and takes about 20 min.

Timetable and map here: http://www.metro.net/riding_metro/bus_overview/images/460.pdf. As you can see the route will take you all the way to downtown LA: Staples Center, LA Convention Center, and the 7th St Metrocenter connection to the Red and Blue Line subway trains. The Red Line takes you to Hollywood and Universal Studios.
