Knotts at Halloween

Has anyone been to Knotts during the day at Halloween season? How much influence do the horror mazes have on the rest of the park during the day? I much prefer Disneys idea of Halloween, but would still consider going to Knotts in October if the park was still relatively normal!

All the mazes now have special areas outside the current main park, and there is no real impact except the closing of the park early due to the nighttime event.

There are a couple of kids rides that close down, such as the kids train due to the need to use the area for staging.

On weekends during the day, there is a great kids event that is held at no extra charge, called Camp Spooky. That includes costuming for kids, and free trick or treating.

Great time to visit, as crowds seem to be lighter than normal.
