Knotts and restuarant question

Reporting to another thread, maybe i put this question in the wrong spot....

Knotts advise
WE are taking the kids to knotts dd8 DS 6 both over 48 inches on oct 18 a Saturday , do u think we will need to spend the $ for VIP / fast pass thing they offer? Assuming volumes of people will be low but I haven't been there in 20 years.

Also any good Mexican restaurants between knotts and disneyland you would recommend, our kids love Mexican food. The park closes at 530 and we have a car...

It's true that KBF is only open until 5:30 on the 18th, but if you get to the park at opening, you should be able to get on the 11 included popular rides without using Fast Lane.

If there are four of you, the Fast Lane wristbands would cost $140, in addition to park admission.
