I don't know if this has been posted before, but I had to share. I've been following this blog for a few months and the urge to build something has been growing and I finally gave in and went to Home Depot this afternoon. DH and I built a toddler picnic table for DD. DH spent about 20 min cutting wood and we put it together in about 2 hrs.

Ana has a lot of plans for regular, and beautiful furniture. We're tackling an outdoor dining set next. So, if you're in the market for new furniture, consider building it yourself from one of Ana's plans. They're so easy to follow. She gives you a shopping list, a tool list and a cut list. Amazing! Money saved on furniture = more money for Disney!

We love Knock Off Wood here too. We built our kids the bigger kid picnic table and then built a neighbor the toddler one for a birthday present. I have a list of many more things for dh to get to building!

I love Knock Off Wood! I've built the toddler picnic table and the rustic bench. I've got the wood cut for the storage bench and just got a nailer last night so that is next on the list. I want to make a farmhouse table for our kitchen. Then the set of bookshelves out of one sheet of MDF. Ah, the list goes on and on! Love, love, love Ana and her blog.

Thanks for posting this! My dd wants a loft bed and dh thinks he can make one for her. This blog had a great step by step guide to making one. We may be trying it this summer!

You can do it! I've never held a power tool in my life; girly girl to the core. DH cut all the wood for me but I put together all of DD's picnic table. You should definitely try something!
