Knee high boots!

After losing my 16lbs I thought I would treat myself to a nice new pair of black boots for the winter, so off DH and I went to the shops today....... but none of them would zip up over my legs!!! I can't understand it, dh says its becuase i keep going running etc at the gym

does anyone else have this problem and do you know of anywhere that I could buy some "wide fit" ones from???

i know how you feel i can't get a pair of long boots to fit over my calfs either
the only place i know of that do wide fit long boots are clarks altough i don't think they have a great selection

evans may do them, they cater for the larger figure and 'fuller' feet so may well do boots with extra width where its needed

Try Next they have nice selection and I think they have a broad fitting section too!

If I can get a size 4 in wide fit from Next I think I will be fine!!! I had a pair of "Spice Girl" ones when I was about 16!!! But I don't think they are very fashionable anymore!!!

I will have to go shopping again!!!! Look out Next and Clarks!!!!! Here I come!!!

Go to www.duoofbath.co.uk. They have a large selection of nice boots and lots of different calf sizes.

I have some but have never worn, too big now. May just flog them on ebay.

Seriously nice boots though.

Or you could get some of the stretchy boots. They worry me alittle (have some of these too and not worn) clausrtophobic maybe.

Hi,

I had exactly the same problem, got the zip up to just about my calf and then wouldn't go any further.

I tried everywhere, then I read about Duo of Bath in a magazine, and my husband was sick of me whinging so he treated me to a weekend in bath and a trip to buy the boots.

The selection is really good and they do 5 different leg fittings, can't recommend them enough.
