Last night our cat, Chester (seen below) snuck out somehow. We didn't notice he was missing until after 11:00. From then until about 1:00 AM, we searched for him all over the neighborhood. Just as I was about to give up hope, the phone rang. DH found him on the next street over.
When he came home, he was covered in what looks like motor oil. After all of his traumatic experience, we didn't want to give him a bath, but we had to. I thought the oil would make him sick if he licked it off. We couldn't get it off too well.
Can anyone suggest something to remove it? I'm afraid he'll get sick. And you can only imagine what his beautiful white fur looks like now.
I am so thankful he was found though.
