We use Feline Pine for our two stinky boys and that works wonders over clay litter.

We use the Johnny Cat Natural clumping/scoopable. It is unscented, no funky smells and it works great! The deodorizer in most litters makes me cringe, I can't stand it and could smell it the minute I walked in the door. We also have a very finicky kitty that when he is not happy with his sand box will pee on anything left on the floor, towels, clothes etc.

We have 3 cats, 6 sand boxes and scoop them every single day, religiously. 3 are covered 3 are uncovered, each cat seems to have a preference

World's Best Extra Strength

I love it, I have one huge cat that has huge pees and it clumps like a rock and doesn't stick to the box.

It is pricey but I rarely have to change out the whole box. It can only be found at pet stores.

This is our choice too. We have 10 cats and it smells the best, tracks the least, and doesn't stick to the litter box. We rarely change the whole box either. I have to buy the extra strength one though. If I buy the regular one, one of my cats eats it!
