Kitchens at bonnet creek

How well stocked are they? I know its camping at its finest. My family vacations at Emerald Isle most years and we have found there are a few things we always bring from our own kitchen. Wine openers, Beer openers......so how well are they stocked?

What items do you find bringing for those who have stayed a few times?

Ive not found ive ever needed to bring anything utensil wise. Perhaps more dish washer detergent or laundry detergent for longer trips would be a good idea. Maybe some more trash bags as well. You actually might be able to simple call down and get these items from front desk as well.

The non-stick skillet can sometimes be scratched up, so I keep one of those in my owner's locker. Other than that, there's not much I've needed. There must be a corkscrew and a bottle opener---I would have noticed if those were missing!

These are a must. I've found that the resort will sometimes give you more, but not always. Who wants to run out of either dishwasher detergent or trash bags?

This year I am bringing: 2 non-stick pans, garlic press, coffee press, a couple of good chopping knives, an extra cutting board, and I think that's about it!

THIS IS GREAT!!!!! Thank you so much. We are fairly local (jacksonville) so we can bring things we want for our won comfort.

Thank you for posting that. It's been a few years since we've stayed at Bonnet Creek. They've got more than I remembered. I'm really happy to leave my knives at home and just bring a sharpener.

For our week-long stays at WBC we bring: a roll of paper towels, a large garbage bag, dish washing liquid, laundry detergent. Everything else we need is already provided in the kitchen (including wine opener )
