Kitchenaid mixer $150

I got mine today too with only a slight problem! The first guy I talked to had said he called Lowes earlier and the mixer advertised was special only for Lowes and it had to be ordered. He also said the item number was completely different. Because of reading the thread on the Budget Board I was familiar with the item number. I went back to where they were on the shelves and called Lowes to confirm the item number. When I went back up front the guy I had talked to was gone and I had to talk to someone else. He was the nicest man ever! He walked me right back to the mixers, asked which one I wanted, carried it up front and matched the price! He also included my 20% coupon and found a cart to put it in for me! :yay:

It took me so much restraint not to get the toaster! I've finally convinced myself that we will just put it on our registry and it'll be ok. DF and I are already living in a house with most of the typical registry items. The toaster is something else to put on our small registry. The mixer deal was something I could just not pass up. Hopefully we'll get the toaster as a gift! :)

Tigger did you buy it at Bed Bath and Beyond? They have a $30 rebate that started today, try to get back to the store and ask for it at the customer service desk. :hippie:

Yup, I got it at BBB! I had found the rebate info online yesterday before I even went and got it. I saw the papers on the display of mixers but didn't grab one. I'm just going to do it online. Stuff online just seems easier to me now. Thanks though! :goodvibes

Just wanted to let everyone know about a great deal I learned about over on the budget board. The Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer (reg. $349) is on sale at Lowe's for $150 (any color). Apparently, it was a misprint in their ad, but they are honoring it. They have to be special ordered, but shipping is free to your local store. They also have the Kitchenaid blenders and toasters at great prices. Anyway, I know this is a very popular registry item, so if anyone who is recently married wanted one but didn't receive it, now is your chance to get it at an amazing price! DF and I actually went ahead and ordered one for ourselves even though our wedding is still a few months away. It was the top thing on our registry (We're foodies!), and I have wanted one since I was a little girl. I wasn't about to run the risk of not getting one and couldn't see letting someone else pay $200 more for the same exact thing. Hope someone else is able to make their culinary dreams come true. :rotfl: Happy bargain hunting!

Thanks for posting that! I had a pink one on one of my registries and my mom went right over to Lowe's Thursday to get it! I was on my way back from Williamsburg for my birthday and my mom told me she had a heck of a story about some deal she got. Way to go, Lowe's! She also ordered the blender because that's about $150 and the ad said $65!:cool1:
