Our one bedroom kitchen at Aulani last year did not have any actual bowls for cereal. I think they gave us a few tiny paper bowls instead, so we wound up having to buy real bowls while we were there. We’re going week after next…can’t wait! Does anyone know if they’ve restocked the kitchen with real porcelain bowls?

Checked in yesterday and this one bedroom unit has two types of bowls. Neither of them large, but they would probably work.

Hi. What type of coffee machine do they have? Keurig or with filter basket? Do you know if they're accepting orders on in-room gifts? Thank you and Enjoy your stay!

It is a Mr. Coffee drip machine. I could not find a way to order gifts, but I was looking last week before we came.

I have found that it is hit or miss in DVC rooms if you get real bowls or the paper ones. Why would you not be able to use the paper ones? They use the recyclable ones.

The paper bowls weren’t good for cereal and were too small and flimsy. And I think they gave us a grand total of two.

They are tiny. I would have have just keep filling them up. LOL Did they not have any more ceramic ones that they could bring you? It is hard to imagine that the whole resort was out of bowls. They usually keep a back up supply of them. I personally don't like to use "real" dishes in a hotel. I don't trust that they are cleaned properly and there is zero chance of me doing dishes on vacation.

We never actually thought of asking for them to bring us bowls. This time we just bought a couple collapsible silicon bowls and will bring them with us, with, of course, our coffee filters.

If you are in a DVC unit you'll have a filter basket type of coffee maker. If you are in a hotel room, you'll get a Keurig.

Yes we are members, darn i'd rather have the Keurig, lol. Thank you.
We have been known to stop at Bed, bath and Beyond to buy a Keurig on the way. :coffee:
