We need something better than a chair for our 3 year old to help in the kitchen. He has fallen off the chair a few times as he tries to help with cooking. There are some highly overpriced towers for this, but I can only find two.

There is something called the Learning Tower by Little Helpers and Kitchen Helper by Guidecraft.

Do you own anything else?

He can still fall off the stool. Do you have the back of the chair against the edge of the counter when he is using it? Honestly I think that a chair is the best solution and teaching him to be careful.

What about just using a step stool with the handle?? that way he's got a someplace to grip onto. Safety just might take a little longer to figure out.
