We want to to to B&C for dinner one night on the DDP, and wanted to get the Kitchen Sink for dessert. I know this isn't included on the plan for one person, but we'll be 3 adults and 1 child on the plan. Can we still get the kitchen sink for dessert, as ALL OF OUR desserts. It seesm Disney would make out here, the kitchen sink is 21.99 and the sundaes go up to 7.99 each, so 3 of those are more money than the kitchen sink. If it's not included, I think we'll just pay cash for it and use the credit for breakfast somewhere.

I have only heard one rumor where they have allowed it. In my experience with the Dp at Beaches and Cream the Kitchen Sink has always been excluded. Now it may have changed, and like I said only one poster has said they were allowed to do it.

I even missed that report of the one poster that could do it.

Beaches & Cream is notoriously 'tight' with their interpretation of following the plan. They are one of the few places that makes everyone on the DDP burn a credit, even if they want to share meals.

Being that we have one report of a person who says that they were able to use credits for the kitchen sink, and thousands of reports of those that couldn't use credits, my guess is 'no' you cannot. It doesn't hurt to ask, but almost always the answer will be no.

I can't remember who it was, but they had said that B&C allowed it ,but only because all 5 of them used a dessert credit towards it. I suppose they may have allowed it, but like you I have had the experience mutiple times of having B&C ridiculously strict with adhering to dining plan rules.

Darn...I don't like to hear that you can't share. There will be 4 of us (all adults) and my daughter and I were planning on sharing there on the FDP. Maybe we will have to go elsewhere.

Beaches and Cream has been pretty strict about the sharing entrees on the dining plan. In fact I listened to the waitress tell people over and over again that sharing on the dining plan was not allowed there.

I did see it...and it was too lacking in particulars for me to come on here and say "yes they will let you do this in all circumstances." For one thing I can't think it makes sense for them to accept children's credits for this. The poster didn't say whether their group was all adults or included children. And, I don't recall there being any other reports of combined Kitchen Sinkers since then.

And yes, as Tricia says we do have a number of reports that B&C doesn't even permit dining plan users to share entrees.

Thanks, I thought I imagined it and was trying to find the thread.

ok, rebel that I am...:lmao:

If I wanted to share, I ust would and if they charged me a TS credit for it, I would contest it with the manager at my resort. If there is a tab with 3 meals and 4 credits charged, seems simple to me that it would be corrected

I am not suggesting that peoplke do this, I am not saying I have done this, I am not saying the resort would correct it. I just don't like being told I have to order a meals and a dessert when I am going to waste the bulk of it.

B&C is also one of my favorite places to go, and some of the friendliest servers - I also like that our favorite server remembers us and my parents year over year :lovestruc
