Hi, We will have 6 adults & 4 kids ages 5-10. Will ONE of these be "enough"? Which one do you think is the best? I just learned about these while surfing the asst. boards. Two of the kids will be turning 10 within a week of our visit.
This sounds perfect.

add hte funnel at the dolphin's the fountain to your list!

i would start with one and you can always get something else if you need

have a great time!

I haven't had an Earthquake, but we had the Kitchen Sink on our last trip. Here's a photo:

We took out the cookies, cake and candy:

Ate a lot of it:

We got an extra bowl for all the "bits" in there, some of the brownie and cake pieces were pretty big, and the candy bars were pretty hefty. We each got a good sized bowl of ice cream.

I think it would be good for 8 people. Four of us left a lot of the cake and things behind. WAY too many cherries, too. Although it does have A WHOLE CAN of whipped cream.

We haven't tried the Kitchen Sink (definitely planning to on our next visit!), but our family of five had no trouble devouring the Earthquake!

Can you pick your own flavors of ice cream and toppings with the Kitchen Sink? That's what we loved about the Earthquake - everyone in the family picked an ice cream and a topping. We started with our own favorites, then turned the bowl so we all got to taste everything. We're major sugar fiends, so maybe it's not quite *normal* for 5 people to finish it! ;)

No, the Kitchen Sink will not be enough for 6 adults & 4 kids.

We had it this past June & I took a picture of the description of it on the menu (for my scrapbook). It states right in the menu, "Serves 4".

And btw, we were a party of four...it was just right.

It took seven people for us to finish The Kitchen Sink. It is quite funny to hear them talk about it now because a couple of them felt like they stuffed themselves. We skipped lunch and just ordered a couple of orders of french fries, drinks and The Kitchen Sink. That was plenty enough.

It will be difficult to get a seat as a party of ten. Beaches and Cream is really small. We went at an off time and it took over 30 minutes to get a seat. Maybe you could show up right when they open up.

Good Luck and Enjoy! :goodvibes

This is definitely something to consider. We were there with a party of 9. The wait to be seated was just over 90 minutes, and we still ended up at separate tables, not even right next to one another. They don't have tables for 8-10 in the restaurant, so the only way to get one is hope that two adjacent tables open up at the same time.

Haven't tried the Kitchen Sink, but don't want to. I'd prefer an option where I can choose the ice cream flavors and toppings, rather than get something where they basically dump in everything, a lot of which I don't want/like. It did look huge so whether or not it's enough will really depend on how much ice cream you all plan to eat. The table next to us had ordered one, and based on seeing that I'm sure the 9 in my party could easily have been fine with just one since none of us eat huge portions.
