kitchen sink for 1 guy- we witnessed it!!!

we stayed at Beach Club and went to Beaches and Cream for dinner on Tuesday night- around 7:30 -sat at counter - ordered onion rings, burgers, chicken sandwich- all was OK- nothing that great but while we were there they started making some kitchen sinks- well one was for a college guy who ate it by himself in 30 minutes- and it was free!! very amazing- they said it happens maybe 3 times a year- he scraped off all the whipped cream, cookies etc- and ate it in 30 minutes!! Lokked pretty gross to me but he had 2 friends who shared another and then anothe family of 4 ordered one.

it was free cos he finished it ? I am sure DS could do this Best way to do this - as it melts within 10 mins get a straw and drink it !!!!

When is the best time to be able to walk in and get dinner for 4...was advised by Disney that ADR is not accepted here and the kids want to eat at Beaches and Cream!!!

When we went to Beaches and Cream last time, they asked if we had ADR's or not so we were under the impression that they take them.

I went at about 3:30 one afternoon and had no trouble getting a seat. I ate at the counter (solo) but could have had a table as well. As I was leaving the rain started so droves of people got out of the pool and headed to Beaches & Cream.

DH and 3 boys (17, 12 and 5) ordered it and they did not finish it.

doesn't really sound like that much, BUT when I went out last time for ice cream I got a banana split with three scoops and three or four toppings, and had to share it with my kids (and I'm a big eater)
