Kitchen Nightmares

There is no end to it on fb se just keeps on and on. Be sure to hit refresh to keep on the crazy train.

The only reason she invited Gordon was so that he would tell the world that their food was great and make all the "HATERS" shutup. :rolleyes2

We all know this has been a long standing drama filled issue with her haters but through my internet stalking I mean research :listen: I've realized she goes after almost everyone that has any sort of complaint or bad word about the restaurant. It's crazy to think that everyone will like you or that you can insult them all and gain them back.

Check out this yelp review from years ago with her reply:

I was out with a group of ladies for a mom's night out and we decided to eat here after a movie...

We were greeted nicely and seated, and then it went downhill quickly from there.

1. It was super hot in that place. I sweat the whole time.

2. A friend and I decided to share the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and expected that at $14, the portions would be big enough to do so. They weren't.

3. The alfredo sauce was bland.

4. No bread with the meals or anything? I thought that was lame.

5. I left hungry.

6. Another two of the ladies shared the squash ravioli and it was $22 for FOUR ravioli. They were flat little ravioli. They were perturbed, asked the server if he was serious and he was like, "YES! This is a million dollar restaurant!" What? Ok, but 4 ravioli?

Good points:

1. The wine.

2. My friends thought the pizza was good.

We pretty much vowed that after such a lousy experience that we'd find it online and make a review.

I was sure you would "find" your way to YELP after leaving. Perhaps next time you should all order your own entrée if one is not large enough to share. Perhaps you were hot because you were dressed like it was winter outside. The restaurant was 75 degrees. I apologize that you did not enjoy your experience, and the meal did not come with all you can eat bread. Perhaps in the future a better bet for you would be the Olive Garden. I hear they have all you can eat bread sticks and salad....MEOW

Honest to God, she replied Meow!!!!! :rotfl2:

OMG! Thank you for this thread! I'm currently watching this on Hulu!

OMG!!! The saga continues. If you don't mind harsh language look up Amy's Baking Company on FB. Amy and Samy have gone CRAZY!!!!!!!

Holy cow. And just when I thought my day couldn't get any better, you go off and introduce me to this gem.

Here's a direct link for the lulz, everyone: https://www.facebook.com/amysbakingco?ref=ts&fref=ts

But, yeah, there be some NSFW language on there. You've been warned.

O. M. G. :scared1:

...like I said before - bat crazy.

I watched the episode and checked out FB and Yelp - now people are saying she doesn't make her own desserts??? Is this true?

I wondered, because that level of baking/decorating takes a lot of time...how would she have time to do that AND cook afternoons and evenings? When does she have time to do her makeup and speak with her cats? :rotfl2:

They're now planning on having a baby to show everyone what they "can do".... ummmmmm..... no thanks..... I don't want to see that AT ALL!!

She is some serious kind of mentally disturbed. :(

I'm surprised that FB is allowing some of those posts to stay up.

FB will only take posts down if they are threatening or illegal, otherwise they won't touch them.

I am shocked that she is still in business based on the reviews and what people have said about the show.

The prices are way too high from what I have seen and the quality and service appear to leave a lot to be desired as well.

they said something about buying the desserts somewhere... they have since deleted that post, but ppl said they took screens of it...

something also about buying it somewhere else, repackage it and sell it as their own without the permission of the baker... i guess they think its okay to do that... i smell lawsuit if the baker wants to sue...

Yes, the FB page has grown so fast tonight it very hard to weed through, but at one point I myself read her posting that she bought and repackaged the desserts. She then posted that she lied to Gordon about making the desserts herself because , wait for it.... He isn't American and doesn't understand how things work. Priceless!

There were also screen shot where they had tracked down the company's online catalog that she ordered the desserts from.

It's hard to believe this is real but after much googling I believe it is (Amy and Sammy ) it seems locally their craziness was fairly well known, the KN show just took the crazy to a national level.

Thanks - I didn't catch ABC's posts, just saw the rebuttals, and the fact that someone linked posted photos of "her desserts" to other sites where she'd lifted the photos. Once a fraud, always a fraud I guess. :confused3

I know it's in bad taste, but I have a black sense of humor and enjoyed the FB posts from SATAN...:rotfl:

She compared her buying and reselling the baked items to Walmart buying and reselling all of the electronics and toys in their store. She said, don't you guys realize Wal-Mart doesn't make all of their electronics and toys in their store, they buy them from somewhere else too.

Sure because that is exactly the same!

Satan is pretty darn funny on there! ~God told me he didn't want you and I could have you, I told him to get outta here. :rotfl2:

I'm wondering what their restaurant looks like today. With how the internet has blown her insanity completely into the spotlight, will anyone actually show up at the restaurant? I'm sure there will be gawkers and people walking in to tease them and go off on them - not any better than Crazy Amy but I know there are people who would totally do that - but will anyone actually BUY anything there ever again?

I'm betting they wind up closing for good before the end of this week... :rolleyes1

I think they will stay open until they are completely bankrupted. Supposedly she went to jail for using someone else's ss# to receive a loan from a bank and they actually closed up for the entire year was she was sentenced to jail. But they paid to keep the business location, etc those kind of bills can get pretty high quickly with no income.

I too think that people will only show up for the entertainment never ordering enough to put them back in the black.

It has gotten to the point that I almost feel sorry for her. Why hasn't any close friend or family member stepped in to clue them in to their foolishness.

Yeah, it was funny (and still kind of is) for a few days but now it's heading towards sad really quickly. I'm guessing that she's completely alienated any friends or family that they may have had.

Keeps getting better...

I read this on FB and several other message boards:

Her real name is Amanda Patricia Bossingham.

The court ordered her to pay $36,294.95 in restitution. Ms. Bossingham plead guilty to submitting an application for a line of credit with M & I Bank using the social security number of another person. The Bank approved the line of credit in the amount of $15,000.

On June 15, 2004, the Court sentenced her to fourteen months prison. (she appealed, but eventually lost, reported to prison in Oct, 7, 2008)

But in this AZ Central review from 2009, it says: "A year ago, however, owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo were forced to shutter their shop when spinal surgery took Amy out of the kitchen."

Spinal surgery???!!! Was it a transplant from him to her...in prison?

Interesting, all those ranting, obscenity laden posts have disappeared. And this was just posted:

Obviously our Facebook, YELP, Twitter and Website have been hacked. We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things. Thank You Amy & Samy

Hmmmmmmm:scratchin
