Kitchen Appliance Help

Good Morning,

I have been researching the web and reading about new appliances, I am so confused since I have not purchased these in years. So I would see if any of you could give me information on some kitchen appliances that you may have or have purchased recently.

I have to get a new range (electric) refrigerator (at least 25CF) and I don't like side by side also a microwave (not for over the range). Our appliances are about 26 years old so I feel that new ones are in order.

Your help and information is greatly appreciated.

I think the best place to start is with Consumers Reports. I don't subscribe, but visit the local library when needing to research.

Also look on-line at places like Lowes.com and then read the comments from people who have purchased.

Personally, I am trying to stay away from GE products. When we redid our kitchen a few years ago we purchased them and I don't really think they are of that high a quality. We recently replaced the microwave and the sales person confirmed that GE has not kept up with the newest technology.

So, I would recommend Consumers Reports and then reading comments on-line before you purchase.

I have a side by side fridge and an over the stove micro, so I am no help there.
