Kissing Games

I'm just starting to figure out the details of our wedding reception and I'm looking for some ideas of Kissing Games? I was thinking of doing the traditional "clinking" of the glasses, but I'd really like to do something a bit different. Any suggestions??

You could get the little bells. Everytime someone rings their bell the bride and groom are suppose to kiss.

We had the DJ announce that in order to get the bride and groom to kiss the entire tables must get up and sing a song with "love" in the title or lyrics. It was really fun - most of the tables participated! It would totally depend on your guests - ours were close friends and family so they were comfortable getting up and singing

I've heard of like announcing that a couple must get in the middle of the dance floor and kiss in a certain way (dip with a kiss, 30 second make out session, kiss on the hand, you name it) and then the bride and groom have to imitate that kiss...I've heard that the guests can get really into it and it can make for some cute and creative kisses! (my examples were poor)

ooo i thought it was a cute idea at my sisters wedding. all my brother in laws guys had posters and they put them up after they kissed....like eww thats my brother and its a 10 and down. But i like the bell idea.....ummm there is always whistles ummm u could do the things that clap together not to sure on the names. you could put together lil' rattle things like some type of wedding figure....filled w/ rice or anything that will rattle.

I like this idea! We may have to use this because we could get some very fun results with the songs people come up with. It would be a great way to get lots of people participating in the fun!

For our kissing game we are putting a jar on the headtable and when a guest wants us to kiss they have to put a donation in the jar. The money in the jar will go to the diabetes association in honour of my fiance's father who died as a result of this disease.

Another cute one I came across was that a guest who wanted to see the couple kiss had to come up to the microphone and tell a funny story of special memory about either the bride or groom.

There are so many special and cute ways you could go!

This happened at my DF's cousin's wedding. I had to go up there and sing L-O-V-E with my (then) 8 year old Ashlee Simpson fan niece.

We gave our DJ names of different couples before the wedding reception and anytime the room would "clink" the glasses for DH and I to kiss, the DJ would call out the name of another couple, who would then have to declare their love for one another through a kiss. It was pretty funny when we gave them the names of two of our guy friends (one is married!) Despite the surprise on their end, the two played the part well and got into the joke!
