Tried googling, but most of the info that turns up is older. Does Disney provide transportation from Kissimmee to WDW? OR what's the best way for 2 20 yo brothers to get from there to WDW? (we live in the country, so they're not used to city bus systems)
We're looking at taking our camper down and thought the boys could take the train down and meet us there. (less crowded in the truck and they wouldn't have to miss more days of work for travel time)

Can you pick them up? But the only other options are a taxi or a car service. I don't think the Lynx Public Bus goes that far but I do think it services the Orlando Station which is one station before Kissimmee.

Its two buses so they would have to transfer.

You should know that I have heard that the bus drivers are aware that there we be out of towners on their bus and therefore are more helpful then other "big city" transit systems.

ETA: You can get a bus from the Kissimmee Amtrak station but its a longer trip.

Thank you. We could pick them up, but they'll most likely get to FL before we do. Thought they could spend a few hours kicking around DTD till we pulled in.
Just trying to figure out all the options and give them some choices.

Cab fares from Kissimmee Amtrak to the MK....44.00 plus tip.

Cab fares from Orlando Amtrak to MK ....54.00 plus tip....

Kissimmee station is closer, hence lower cab fare..

Cabs are usually at station when train pulls in, real easy to hire a cab!

Do you Mean kicking around DTD or Amtrak? From DTD they could catch A bus to fort wilderness.

Leave Kissimmee the kick around DTD then I figured they can catch the bus to FW when we call them

I think they can get Mears bus for $21 each.

My inlaws are making this trip and I was able to add Mears transfers for them right through Disney Travel Company. The cost is $70 round trip and it's now part of our package.

Just call Disney and ask them to add the transfers directly to your vacation package!

I wish people wouldn't post information if they are not 100% sure. I couldn't believe all the people posting that you could only take a taxi or a towncar! Why say anything if you don't have direct experience? :scratchin

Are they staying at a Disney's campground or resort? If so they could take a taxi from the Orlando train station to the airport and take Magical Express the rest of the way.

(If they used the Lynx city bus system it would probably be less cumbersome to take that all the way to Disney.)
