What more can a person say other than this Disforum touches us all in some way, big or small. Consider my heart touched. There is a true meaning to these words-

Rae & Andy,

You are two of the most amazing people. No words can express what wonderful examples you set for others to follow about how to look at life. Both of you have shared very private issues with us on this board and I for one, will try to remember when stupid things start to aggravate me, in the grand scheme of things, they really are not important.

Rae, even through your grief at losing Kayla, you thought of others by donating Kayla's organs. God bless you for helping others continue to live.

Andy, what a beautiful picture of you and your darling BJ. How wonderful that you are now sharing such amazing adventures like parasailing on CC with your daughter. I bet BJ will be there with both of you as you glide through the air.

I'm sure Kayla, BJ and all the little Angels of Heaven are proud of both of you.

On a lighter note-----Boy, I sure hope so!!!

As we were leaving the hospital for the last time, the nurses gave Hazel and I a card with a clipping of BJ's hair, and on the card was BJ's footprint. Under this was the words, "You are the wind beneath my wings." When Angelina and I go parasailing on CC, BJ, is going to be the wind beneath my wings!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I think going through what we did, prepared us for the challenges of parenthood, when Angelina came along.

Your and your family are going to have a wonderful time on your cruise!! I think you and Angelina are going to get a big kick parasailng 'with the wind beneath your wings.' Our son, 2 SILs and 15yo Gson went on St. T. I think it is natural to be apprehensive before-hand. Altho, our son, who spent 6 yrs w/82nd found it boring. 4Nana only wishes she had gone! Like you said, 'you only go around once'!! Live life to the fullest!! These pix are for you!

Very happy that your Kira is home safe and sound. Our oldest daughter, Kira (Aug. 10, 1994), is probably frolicking in the clouds with Kayla and BJ (and many other loved ones from this board I'm sure). And yes, our faith is the only reason we were able to carry on through our grief.

I just read these posts and WOW! I had no idea about your family histories, especially Andy's. I just want to say that I'm thinking of you two (Rae & Andy). A few friends of mine have recently lost their child as well and I am alittle sad for them tonight. I love my 3 DDs so much and I can't imagine the sadness. Let's all pray for everyone tonight who has lost their baby and remember to "Let go & Let God!!!" Thank God also, for Disney who has brought so much joy to so many.

I always like to think of Kayla as being the gift God gave to me to show me what unconditional love was about. To dwell on her passing and not rejoice in her life would be a sin -

Yes, let us all remember that our lives here on Earth are temporary - so whatever good we can do now, we must do.
