So, I was reading a guide book and then the WDW website and it said you have the option of a king size bed at the POP century! The 4 times I've been there I've never known it was an option! Has anyone done this before? If it is a no problem type of thing-hey I'm geared up for a king on the 1st! :goofy: woo! haha

Yes, you can request a king at Pop. It's just a request though, not a bookable category.

I'm gonna request one tomorrow (also at Pop). I'll give you first dibs. Hubby and I are skinny and could fit in a double, but we would rather have a king! (Romance for our first trip to DW together!)

We also arrive on Feb 1-7. See you there! I'm medium sized with short kinda blondish grey hair probably with some residual pink on top, glasses; hubby is VERY thin, with bald head and full grey beard. We both are very pale! I usually wear purple. Wave and say Howdy if you see us!

I requested one a few times before our trip early December as it was our anniversary trip but we were not granted one. Darn but we went in figuring we wouldn't get one!

I was given one just by chance. It was in a handicapped accessible room, so there was no bath tub, just a huge toilet/shower area with a curtain separating the two. It was a little awkward. I was alone, so I didn't mind too much, but if you have kids that prefer a bathtub you might want to make sure to call and ask ahead of time.

We had one on our HM. It was an accessible room. The shower had a seat and a drain on the floor, but most of the bathroom was still wet and slippery. We drove to Walmart to buy shower shoes.

We had one in the 70s building. It had a tub/shower combo.

As noted, it's a request. If you really want a king size bed, I would highly suggest that's your only request. There's a limited number of these rooms so if you want a particular building and all those king bed rooms are occupied, you won't get the bed, you'll get the building.

I wasn't expecting one, as I know it's a request. I just never knew that was even offered. We are going to request it, but not expect it of course!!
:)

Hopefully if anyone else tries they get it too! Paws crossed for everyone!!

I'm short, basic build long auburn/highlighted hair!! I'll usually wear jeans and some Disney tee!!
Boyfriend is taller with a big "football player" build. Dark hair! He'll be wearing khaki shorts with some sports shirt.
