DH and I went to Kingfisher's in June and I can say unequivocally that I will never go back again. The food was decent; not great but not terrible. I had a spinach-stuffed salmon special and it was good. DH had their regular menu salmon and it was pretty bland. Overall, service was fine and food was fine - overpriced, but fine. My issue was with wheelchair accessibility. Their entrance is ramped and accessible, so I assumed (incorrectly) that the whole restaurant is. They made their steps seem not a big deal by telling us we'd have to go through their back entrance. Fine. We followed the hostess around to the back of the restaurant, down the steepest ramp known to man (glad my DH was there to help), through their GARBAGE DUMP area and through their STINKY kitchen with all their workers staring at us like we were from another planet. Let me tell you, nothing spoils your appetite quite like the smell of rotting food. I'd have been happier if they'd just said, "Sorry, we're not wheelchair accessible" and let us go find somewhere decent to eat. I know this won't affect most people, but for those of you who need accessibility, this is your FYI.
