Kingdom Keepers

My DD 13 loved all 3 - we bought the 3rd the day it came out last month because Ridley Pearson was doing book signings in WDW while we were there, Unfortunately my DS was under the weather and we didn't get to them, but it was cool that he went to where his fans were on the first two days the book was out. My just turned 12 year old is reading them now and my almost 7 year old want to start when she is done with them. I read the first one and it was entertaining enough for me to finish it! It was definitely enjoyable light reading for adults - especially those of us who love all things Disney! :thumbsup2

I am reading the third one right now. I did read them in order and they are nice when you need that Disney fix.

I won't give it away but I found the scenes at Soarin to be very interesting. Are changes coming??

DCL will also be included in future books. :thumbsup2

Hopefully the other Disney parks(CA, France, etc.) will in included also.

I'm so happy about the positive response I'm getting to this thread. I'd never heard of these books before, and it was just by chance that my DBF struck up a conversation with a lady while in the MK and she mentioned the books and how good they were...so we went on the hunt for them and found all three. I started reading the first one on the trip home. I love the way the author describes the buildings and surroundings.

I enjoyed the Kingdom Keepers books, but I have to tell you- I enjoyed the Peter & the Starcatcher series much more. Also written by Ridley Pearson (along with Dave Barry). It's the "pre" Peter Pan stories and I really, really liked them. There are 4 books in that series if you are interested.
