Who has read it? What do you think? I just finished and handed it off to my daughter!

My entire family read the first book and really enjoyed it. We will have to run out and get the second book. I didn't realize that it was out yet.

I don't have it yet! Three of us read the first one. I don't do scary so well, it kinda freaked me out But I will read the 2nd one! My youngest DS is certainly not ready, but the rest of us loved the first one!

We have been waiting for it to come out! I was in the book store last week and by chance stumbled upon it. I didn't know it had come out either!

Sorta OT... How long does it usually take for a book to come out in paperback?

DD and I read the first one before our trip in May. I saw then that this one would be coming out and thought it would be a cute gift. We are planning a second trip (darn disboards...) for next fall. I know I'm cheap, but I'd rather not pay $20 for a hardcover book that we'll read once or twice and then have it come out in paperback for $6.

Not sure about lag-time between hardback & paperback sales, but check out Alibris.com, Bookfinder.Com & even Amazon.Com for used copies or reduced-price copies. Costco/BJ's/Sam's usually have top-sellers at sale/lower prices, too. You could also get on the wait-list if your local library is carrying it.

My kids read Kingdom Keepers II and loved it! I haven't read it yet. I did read the first book and it was OK. I'll never look at IASW the same way again!

Does anyone know if the author will write 2 more books (Epcot & Studios) to complete the series?
