I have read the first two and I'm going to read the third on the drive to Florida but I want to know what you think of the books? :]

Oh yeah, anyone else watch avatar the last air bender...I <3 that show :]

OMG BEST BOOKS EVER!!!!!! the third was my favorite, but i love EPCOT, so... yea i love them, finally glad 2 have fictional material on the disney parks!

They're okay. I like them because they're set in disney but I don't think the writing is very good, it's fun to read though. I didn't much care for the last one, the 1st was the best.

I'm getting some mixed results here  That's good though :]

well the reason being that younger kids could understand them but older "children" at heart could enjoy them. it's a tough writing medium.

According to wikipedia is a book classified as Young-Adult Fiction, which is around 14-21. I understand that it doesn't mean younger kids do not read it, but you can write well and still make it understandable.

And I found the 3rd hard to follow, maybe it was because I wasn't all that into it.

my problem was i read it WHILE in disney, so i would read then put it down for a few days, forget what happened, then reread. i think why i like it so much is because there is nothing else like it out there, maybe if disney theme park novels where as popular and frequent as vampire novels(ick!) i wouldn't b saying the same thing. idk jmho...

I think I like it so much because it is new and exciting, I've read each HP book several times so its nice to have a new book to read thats not vampire/werewolf/love dovey/ suicidal-depressing / eettcc. lol

it is soo hard to find a good teen book now-a-days. i read one last year called dream factory about teenagers on the disney collage program, and it was horrible! the facts and details where wayyyyyy off. they where putting magic kingdom attractions in epcot etc... and not well written.

I enjoy the series, but I do spot mistakes quite often in the books... Depending on how huge the mistake is, I just ignore it (such as in the third book, the characters were walking around the West side of Future World, but Ridley said it was the left. Later he gets it right saying the snake was heading towards the East of the park). But then there's the giant mistakes that just can't be ignored (Chernabog is the dragon in Fantasmic? I doubt it!) so I just imagine the books are in an alternate universe where things in WDW are differnet to ours.

I still don't understand why none of the characters use the International Gateway in the book. Fridge logic I suppose...

If you want another book set in WDW, check out this one:

(Btw, it's been released under the terms of a Creative Commons License that allows the book to be redistributed anywhere without the permission of the author. There's a note about it at the beginning.)

I enjoyed a book series recently that had nothing to do with vampires, werewolves, romance, or sadness (well, it's a bit sad but it depends on the chapter). It's the Stoneheart series from Charlie Fletcher. It's now one of my favourite book series.

Oh, yeah! I mean, I liked it, obviously there are not any other books like it, except maybe Cory Doctorow's "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" which I haven't read. I just thought the writing could be better, that is all. :goodvibes

I posted a link to Down & Out in the Magic Kingdom above, if you want to read it now. Though it's a lot more adult than the Kingdom Keepers. It's also mainly set around the Magic Kingdom and Haunted Mansion.

Thanks, George. I have it saved to my computer, I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Which did you like better?

First one= fantastic
Second one= meh.
Thrid one= :headache:

It seems now he's just in a loop. The third seems to be full of useless fluff, and it was difficult to follow. I was so hopeful that because of its legth, it'd be the last. They're not written that well, they contain misinformation (and Fantasmic! is called something different in each one ), and seem to drag on and on (well, the third one did). They have editing errors, that combined with misinformation, can make them difficult to read.
Yes, I'm happy there's actually these books, but.. I really wish they were better. They seem like they're written for 4th graders or something to me.

AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER IS MY FAVORITE SHOW IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!!!

K. just though i'd throw that out there. (:

i think the issue is that we know too much. the average 'person'(i'll use that word cause the book is read by a spectrum of ages) doesn't know the uber tiny little deatils like left and right. and technically they where written for fourth graders. ages 10-12.

i tried down and out, but it was a little to 'techy' for me. then again i only got 5 pages, so i could b mistaken. from the back of the book it sounds like its centered a lot around hall of presidents. is there a whole lotta haunted mansion in it? if there is i may pick it up again.

The first was great, second one was good, the third was... alright.

overall i'm still a fan. :)

supposedly he's supposed to be writing at least ten books for the series?
