There's also a book called Down & Out in the Magic Kingdom. It's set in the future and is much more adult than Kingdom Keepers. I enjoyed it. It's available online if you look for it.
He didn't just ride and take a couple of photos, he got to explore the rides in detail, even going up into the scenery. I know in an interview, he mentioned that he got up onto the boat in Pirates of the Caribbean. He spent at least a week in Epcot when researching the park. He most likely started writing to books whilst researching to keep it fresh in his mind. Even if he can't remember the layout of the ride, there's always on-ride videos on YouTube. There's also no excuse for giving the wrong name for an attraction. Sure I like the books but there are ways to make sure the details are accurate.
I completely agree. I'm sure, since he needed permission to write the books (plus they let him tour in-depth) copyrights of names should have been no issue.
yea but it's hard to see details in some of the youtube videos(like watch the hm one). plus he only spent about a week or so, he would of had to live in disney world to write the entire book. so at most he could only write segments on the rides.
There's no excuse, in my mind, for getting details off. My last trip was about a month ago. And even before then, with my last trip in 2008, the off details stood out to me like a sore thumb. He's getting a ton of money for these books. The least he can do is get the details correct.
