KINGDOM KEEPERS 3!!!!!!! 3 weeks left!

The third one was kindof a letdown. The second one was horrid, in my opinion. It seems to me now he's just going in circles.

:scared1::eek::eek::scared::scared::crazy2::sad::faint::faint::faint::faint::faint::furious::furious::worried: why do you think that?

Well, (hilight for spoilers) Malifecent and Chernabog are in AK at the end of KK 2, right? They go back at the end of KK 3. (circles) And it was really long (longer than the others, anyway) so I hoped it'd only be a trillogy. Honestly, they're getting a bit boring to me.

well keep in mind thats the biggest park and that means there is more spots to hide

AK had its book. MK had its book. MGM and Epcot had a book. It's just getting a little old. Seems circular and boring, a little. Plus I really don't like how innacurate some of his details about the parks are.

What's innacurate?

when at AK at the planet watch the said there was only one camera when theres four and that it had a joy stick not a touch screen thats all i can think of and i dont care im just saying

He got the layout of Splash Mountain completely wrong in Disney After Dark, which bothered me.

Not to mention that they called Fantasmic! "Fantasmics" in Disney After Dark, and went to calling it "Fantasmic!" in Disney in Shadow.

Does any think that the fourth book will take place on the Disney cruise lines is some what odd? How much story could they have on a ttourist boat?

I found that odd. What Overtakers could cause havoc on a boat filled with tourists? Even at night, someone's bound to hear or see SOMETHING. I was thinking Castaway Cay, but still, lots of people.

I think they should do an International park one...DLP, HKDL, TDL, TDS...

Actually, Tokyo DisneySEA would be really neat.

yeah like the suite in the fire house is not in WDW its in DLR and the suite int the castle is in WDW not DLR and there is some others that i cant think of right now

I don't think he mixed it up I think he just created the room cause when he wrote the book it was durring the year of a million dreams and he was not allowed to say an old guy lived in a suite that vistors where staying at every day

i'm not that critical ofthe books. there is only one other book out there disney theme parks related called "dream factory" the facts where so off, and put disney in a poor light. i thi k he did a great job of writing it and you have to think, he went into the parks and took pictures and explored the rides and utiladors. then went back home and wrote the story. i don't know how much time he spent in the parks or how familiar he was with the parks before writing but if you only wen on a ride twice, or only went to disney a few times in your childhood, or went to disneyland more often than disney world you would get things mixed up. i just got back this morning from 9 days at wdw (30th trip),and even some of my favorite rides(especially splash) i can't remember the exact sequence. plus 90% of readers won't realize that he messed this up with DL or changed the splash sequence. his ideas are genius and so well developed. and how he came up with them i'll never know but i think we should cut ridley a little slack.

There's also a book called Down & Out in the Magic Kingdom. It's set in the future and is much more adult than Kingdom Keepers. I enjoyed it. It's available online if you look for it.

He didn't just ride and take a couple of photos, he got to explore the rides in detail, even going up into the scenery. I know in an interview, he mentioned that he got up onto the boat in Pirates of the Caribbean. He spent at least a week in Epcot when researching the park. He most likely started writing to books whilst researching to keep it fresh in his mind. Even if he can't remember the layout of the ride, there's always on-ride videos on YouTube. There's also no excuse for giving the wrong name for an attraction. Sure I like the books but there are ways to make sure the details are accurate.

yea but it's hard to see details in some of the youtube videos(like watch the hm one). plus he only spent about a week or so, he would of had to live in disney world to write the entire book. so at most he could only write segments on the rides.
