King Size beds at YC

For all of the imes we have stayed at the Yacht Club I've never seen a room with a king size bed. My wife and I are going in December and I was thinking about asking for one. Does anyone know how many rooms are set up with a king? We have booked a standard view room and, like everyone I'm hoping for a upgrade. I wonder if requesting a kings would help or hurt our chances of being upgraded.

Yes, I think you should request a king when you make your ressie. We actually got a King Sico room for our trip this summer and I was really worried about it, but we ended up loving it. A Sico room has a king bed that comes out of the wall, although it stays down. You have a larger sitting area than the regular room. Not all king rooms are Sico.

Anyway, every time we stay at the YC or BC, we always get our request met 100%. It's a great resort!

Sorry, I can't say for sure about the Yacht Club, but we stayed at the Poly in Sept and they don't have any rooms with King beds except suites. We ended up traveling without the kids and still had to stay in a room with 2 beds. Yacht Club could be different though.

They have king beds, I would decide what I want, bed or location though and not ask for both.

I agree with Sammie...ask for what is most important! And one thing...we just made one request , a King bed...and were upgraded to a Lagoon View...it was wonderful! We were already paying for the Cl, but not this view or location.
