king size beds at wl

i am going to be staying at wl for my honeymoon and am interested in a room that has a king size bed and also a bathtub, rather than a roll in shower. Do these rooms exist?, if so, does anyone know of a specific room number?

I am not sure what a "roll in shower" is. WL has a limited number of rooms with a king bed rather than two queens or a queen and a bunk. You need to request it when you make your reservation to have a chance of getting one. Also, all rooms at WL have tubs.

I understand exactly what you are saying. Yes, Wilderness Lodge does have a few king rooms with a tub. There are no king rooms in the standard or deluxe categories. Many of the king rooms do have the roll in showers, as they are handicap accessible. Make sure to request a king bed with tub on your reservation. Another option is one of the honeymoon rooms. They have a king bed and jacuzzi tub, and are located on the concierge level.

I believe 999 has called what you are looking for a "true King". There is a WL faq thread that you would have to refer to to see if actual room numbers are listed. I also am under the impression that room assigners won't give specific room numbers, but due to the fact that very few exist, you will probably get what you want location wise. 999, does that sound right.....

Definetly get your room request in early b/c from what I understand there are not alot of King rooms with tubs. We unfortunetly had no idea that most have roll in showers when we made our reservations last year and were surprised at check in to hear that the only Kings available had the roll in shower. We were travelling with our 14-month old DD so we absolutely needed the tub and ended up having to switch to a two queen bed room.

You could book a Honeymoon Suite--which is a suite in name only--but it does have a Kacuzzi Tub and a King Bed. These are concierge rooms with standard views of the rooftop.

We stayed in RM 4037 - great room - king bed and tub, non- smoking. It looked stratight towards the lake. Short walk to the elevator down to roaring forks and the pool.

We hit the hot tubs twice a day!
