I posted this in the official Yacht & Beach club thread, but no one replied so I will try again in the general resorts thread.....

For our trip in December we (DH & I) are booked in a Garden or Woods View room at the Yacht Club. This is our first trip without kids, and I was going to call and request a king bed room. My DD told me she's flying down for the weekend to stay with a friend and she wants to meet us at the resort for at least one day, and may decide to stay one night... I figure I can go to the front desk to ask to have her added to the room for the night and pay the extra $25. But I am under the impression that not all king bed rooms(for that matter, all rooms) do not have day beds. So if we get a room without a daybed, she may not be able to stay the one night. I don't want to add her on to the reservation since I don't want to pay the extra person fee for the whole stay and only the night she will be there.

Is this possible? Should I call and request a King room which has a daybed?

Should I explain the situation to the CM when I call to put in the request?I just don't want to have to pay $25 a day extra when she will only be staying one night (I don't mind paying the $25 for the night she will actually be with us).

Thanks in advance

Not all King Bed rooms have daybeds, correct. Neither King nor Daybed are bookable categories at YC. I believe they prioritize assignment of the King-Daybed rooms to parties of 3 or fewer.
