As the title states, I was trying to book a king room at RPR but am only being offered the 2 queens room. Does that mean they are all fully booked? Is there any chance that, if someone cancels a ressie, they will come free. Is there any advantage to having a king room other than a bigger bed/not having two beds?

It is just DH and I so we really didn't want (or need) 2 beds in the room. However, at a rate of $131 night if 2 queens is allI can get, I'll take it :)

I recently had the same experience for PBH. I was booking dates for early December and no regular king rooms were available because they had already all been reserved. I was advised to keep checking back for a cancellation.

In the end, we switched our dates and for the new ones a king room was available, but my plan had been to just keep checking.

if there are any cancellations for the king bed room, then it goes back into the pool of available rooms.

call frequently to check or use the website to see if one is available for your time period.

king bed rooms usually cost more than the 2 queen bed rooms.

go for the $131........same room size
