King Pin in WDW, is he fun to trade with?

First time going to WDW in February and want to try the whole Pin trading thing. I have heard about King Pin in Animal kingdom, is he actually worth going to to trade with? It seems like a really cool idea to trade with him, but I wanted to know if anyone had first hand expieriences with him.

So is it always the same guy that is king pin? Is he an actually CM?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm looking at buying a pin lot on Ebay, is there any sellers that reliable don't have any fake pins in there lots?

Since he is on Disney property does he have to follow the rules of pin trading the same as CM do and our his pins ALL Authentic

Highly doubtful that anybody could sell genuine Disney pins for those prices and in such bulk quantites as well.

Or the adage you get what you paid for.

I just started trading. Question. Are you going to be buying pins for just yourself or others in your party? I here buying in lots can be ok. But honestly I don't need that many pins. I would just purchase a starter pack with as many pins as you can. I bought one with 7. I have way more than 7 pins. Some have just been given to me for various reasons and I always buy at least one pin each trip.

Beeep .....a customer service reminder.....any pins not purchased from Disney could/ probably contain fakes...not all but some. You are always taking a chance that bulk is fake..I wouldn't do it. Just me tho. ....let the fun begin

It depends on your budget and since the CM have to trade if "Disney" and the majority are the seconds sold in bulk on ebay your trading a second for another or if you luck out and get an authentic one the better. Each their own buying seconds.
