"King Kamehameha Suite" at the POLY?

Seriously, can anyone tell me how much it costs to stay here per night and is it possible to book this room? or do you have to be someone like Kelly Ripa or Oprah to stay there?

$1,895 to $2,640 not including tax - from disney world website 2006 - 2007 will be more

Here is the info and cost. You won't have much luck booking it this year. We tried for even December and all the suites were booked. In an email I had from someone at the suites they said there has been no empty rooms. People are checking out and others are checking right in.

Do people REALLY pay that much for a room PER NIGHT? I'm having trouble swallowing the price we are paying per night for GV @ the Poly for Thanksgiving, but we are doing it. I can't imaging paying that much!

Yes, people do spend that much a night for a suite.

You would be surprised how many people book suites.

I think Disney does not have enough suites for the demand.

That is why it would not surprise me if Disney renovates the North Wing at the CR and put in Suites instead of converting it to a DVC.

Sorry DVC'ers it's just my thoughts I have no inside info.
