I know that these resorts are more geared towards families but DH and I will most likely be staying at POP or ASMovies this fall. Is a king bed even an option? Thanks!

yep, it most certainly is... be sure to request it on your reservation... but it's only a request not a promise... so, good luck!

We stayed in a King at Pop last May!

Do you remember what building or your room no? I'm going solo and I'm requesting a king room, just curious as to where they are located. TIA :cool1:

if you go to the Pop Century (groovy) FAQ thread, a poster posted floorplans of the buildings including which rooms are kings etc... it's a very informative thread w/tons of great stuff!

King beds are available. They are considered a premium room and they will book a king room for you at a slightly higher rate.

If you just "request" the room, you are not guaranteed a king, but if you book a king you should get it, you'll just pay about $10 or so more a night.

We have stayed at Pop twice, both times in a King room. Both times we have paid the same rate as the double bed price ($49 AP rate). The premium rooms are any rooms in the 60's section.
