King bed rooms at WL?

Anybody ever stay in a room with a king bed at WL? We have one requested for April (woods view), and I would like information on what the rooms are like. After reading the thread about the handicapped-accessible rooms (which one poster said typically had the king beds), I am wondering if anybody knows if all the WL king rooms are rooms designed to be handicapped accessible? Do they have tubs? Storage in the bathroom? A lock on the bathroom door? Thanks for any help!

WL has around 728 rooms but only around 37 King bedded rooms. Not sure how many of the 37 King rooms are HA, the resort only has 37 HA rooms, or what they're like.

A King request will all but eliminate your other requests.

Do you have any idea on where I could look for information on this? Thanks!

Call the front desk at WL. Intercot gives the room breakdowns I posted. Alternately just request a king room but specify NOT handicap accessible, just don't be surprised if you don't get a king room.

You could stay at VWL in 1 bedroom which has a king size bed, and a jacuzzi, and a washer and dryer, and a kitchen................

They have several of those beauties..... most not HA

The last 2 visits this year to WL we got our room each visit and openned the doors to find a King bed, but then closed the door quickly after seeing it was a HA bathroom....shower only, no tub. We went up to the desk each time and asked to be moved. The first thing they say to us is "did you request a king room" and we say no, but would love one IF it has a tub. We are then always moved to a room with 2 queen beds. So twice within the last 12 months this has happened. (Also had to request a frig in January this year.) I'm starting to think that they have no King rooms with tubs. We however have managed king rooms at the A/S Movies and Pop with tubs....go figure.

I had a king bed room at WL, and it was handicapped accessible. I never requested it, as I reserved a standard view room, so I guess it was an upgrade. It had a huge bathroom, with only a shower but plenty of room under the sink for putting things. The shower had a little pull-down seat in it. I don't remember if the bathroom had a lock on the sliding door, but I am thinking it didn't. My room was one of the closest you can get to the elevators near Roaring Forks and the laundry room on the 1st floor. It was a woods view, with a pond outside the patio and a fence with a loading dock directly next to it (ick! Next time I will pay for courtyard view!). The room was functional, but for some reason I never "loved" it, but that had probably more to do with the location than the handicapped bathroom design. I did like the king bed, though! :)
