King Bed request - Beach Club Resort

I've got a garden view room booked at the Beach Club Resort and called to add a request for a king bed (there are three of us - myself, husband and our daughter). The CM advised that you can only request a king room if two or less people are on the booking and that rollaways are not allowed in king rooms? Is this correct or should I call back and try again?

The maximum occupancy for a king bed room at all Disney resorts is 2 persons plus one child under the age of three. If your daughter is older than 3, they won't put you in a king room.
