Hello
Hope nobody minds me coming over from the DLP board to ask a question.
I'm going to be in England next week and I'm planning on buying a Kindle.
I saw that Amazon have refurbished 3G ones for roughly £40 cheaper than a new one. The only difference is that you just get an USB cable and not an power adapteur (or is it plug ?)
I was wondering if the "adapteur" from an Ipod or Ipad would be ok and work or is it really necessary to have the Kindle one ?
And if they do work are the USB cables on Ipads/Ipods and the like standard the world over and say I bought my Kindle in the UK and my Ipad in the US and my Ipod in Europe they would all be interchangeable adapteur/plug wise I'd just need travel plug thingys for each county or am I totally on the wrong track
Thank you very much for any help
