Kindle vs. Nook

I plan on buying one in the next week or so....still doing research etc.
Which is your favorite and why?

Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly of both!!

I know that they don't use internet so to speak, but they do access through it somehow (whispernet??)...If the service they use (at&t or sprint) doesn't have good coverage in my area does that make a difference??
