I had Target price match this today so I could use my REDcard discounts. They did it without any problem. I am really happy to not have to go out on BF.

My Target refused to match it. The person who unlocked the cabinet hemmed and hawed, took me to Customer Service, where she hemmed and hawed then finally called the manager on duty who refused to match the ad saying that they do not match "doorbuster" ads - the ad must be one full week in length.

Has anyone been able to get this deal for a white one? My daughter really wants white but I like this price and they only had graphite at the Best Buy we went to.

The BB by us also has (had) only graphite so I went to Target this morning to see if they would price match. I specifically asked if it had to be an *identical* item (i.e. same color) and they said nope! So, they honored the BB price and I was able to get a white one!

I have a $5 RZ certificate for BB and went there this afternoon to get a graphite one for my dad. They said they are sold out, but they will hold one at the store that is 20 miles away...uh, no thanks. So, I'm going to round up the kids (who just got home from school) and go back to Target to see if they will sell me another one.
ETA: I just got home from Target. They did price match for me again! They pored over the ad with a fine-tooth comb because they couldn't believe the price, but they concluded that it was all on the up and up. I also got the 5% for using my RedCard too.

I was actually able to get a white one at Target. They did price match the Best Buy ad for me without any problem either. Yeah!

Does anyone know if the nook and kindle can share books? I have a nook and my sister wants a kindle but she also wants to read some of my books.

Is this a "standing" offer? I plan on buying a Kindle for DD8 and she really wants the lighted cover (which is the one I have) but I just can't fork out another $50 for that cover right now. I know she will need a cover and that is ultimately the one I want to get her. Most of the non-lighted covers are still in the $25-$30 range anyways, but how likely is it that I will get this offer?

I am not sure. I had to wait about 2 months before this offer came up for me. It was a big deal to wait because most of the things come back around. I can see this being an offer that they send out alot at Christmas time. I LOVE my lighted cover.

I used mine for that time period without a cover and it wasn't a big deal.

Just a note to let you know that they ads are only the screen savers for when you are NOT reading. You never see an add at all when you are reading. The regular models have screen savers of dead authors when you are not reading.

Thanks OP! I sent my dh after work to get one at the BB near us- the one near my job didn't have one. He said that they knew nothing about the promotion and had to dig one up but he got it! One less thing to worry about. I know DD14 will love it.

There is an option for you to add the SO to your Kindle. Go to Manage my Kindle - Manage Your Devices.

That's an awesome price for the kindle 3g, I wish I had known they were going to drop so much in price when i bought mine last summer! I still love it! I also have the special offers version and have gotten some GREAT deals! I got the offer for the cover within a week or two of when I received the Kindle.

It is for everything that they currently sell. I have a K2 also, I would love to get adds on it, but if you got the K3 or Kindle Keyboard as it is not called without ads you can add it.

I ordered my 2 $50 gift cards from mycokerewards for Best Buy last week.
It would have been GREAT to get the Kindle by using all the soda my dh drinks but I'll have to be a big girl and get a video game with the gift cards LOL I wasn't even looking to get the Kindle but if I could have gotten it for free, just from all the darn soda my dh drinks, I would have LOVED to tell anyone that would want to hear how the heck I got it LOL
