Kindle Cover

Just ordered the special offers Kindle and can't wait to get it. I've been reading through Kindle on my iPad and phone for a while now, but decided to get the Kindle device to be more portable and more beach/pool friendly for the summer. So what's everyone using for a cover, and do you like it? I have the leather folio type on my iPad and like it a lot, just wondering what else is out there and who has the best deals. I am a VB nut and like the e reader sleeve, but I'm guessing then you also need a skin or something directly on the kindle. Sugestions?

I have an M-Edge platform case that I really like. It's nice because you can stand up your Kindle to read and it has a slot for a light.

I also have a Klear Kase (waterproof case) for use at the pool. I have a 2 & the link is for a case for a 2...not sure if they make one for the 3.

I have a sleeve for my kindle as well as a skin. You don't necessarily need it, but they're a lot less slippery with the skin on than without. I like it, and when I go to the beach I just throw it in a regular gallon ziploc bag to keep the sand and water out.

My husband has one of the flip open cases and he likes that too, but it is a bit bulkier.

Really it's all personal preference

I have a brown leather cover but I think I am going to get the Vera Bradley cover. They have it in several cute colors.

I have the special offers Kindle too - got it last month. The other day one of the special offers was for 50% off of the Kindle Lighted cover - it is normally $59!!! I ordered red of course!!

It came yesterday and so far I love it!

The special offer Kindle was definitely worth the ads just for this one alone!! I actually look forward to seeing the ads!

I got a special offer for a $100 Amazon gift card if I applied and was approved for an Amazon credit card. Easiest $100 I ever got and it pretty much paid for the Kindle ($114).

They have some covers on Overstock.com.

I had a VB mini hipster that I cut the strings off and cut off the flap. My kindle fits in there perfectly, and the whole thing fits in my purse. It was hard at first to cut up the VB, but I am so glad that I did.

I have two. One I picked up before I ever got my kindle and I like it, but I don't love it. The other is the lighted leather cover and I love it! It definitely adds bulk to the kindle though, so I know it won't be the best choice for everyone.

I picked mine up directly through Amazon, listed as used. But it looked brand new to me. They have had some decent deals on used ones in the past. I only paid $14.99 for mine. But lately it seems the used ones are only $5 or $10 less than the new ones. So not exactly a killer deal, and maybe not even worth risking going used.

I use the m-edge Leisure Jacket for the beach. It has a clear plastic front and zips closed. I think it is also available at Amazon.
