Kindle 3, Nook or Nook Color?

Another Kindle fan ... I have the DX 3G and a great piece of technology.

PS: They don't do well if you drop them into the lake. Tend to stay on that same page for the rest of your life. (The Hunger Games, so at least a good page) Amazon did have a great program where I was able to get replacement for about 1/2 price.

Off topic but how long did it take you to get your card?

I mailed them a check 11/7 and the check was cashed at least a week ago if not more and I still haven't received anything in the mail.

I would call them. I sent in my application a week before thanksgiving and I received my card a few days ago. In fact I had the card before the check even cashed.

I am very torn now, because I was all set and had the Kindle on my Wish List....However, I am a HUGE magazine reader. Love books and read often, but I have many magazine subscriptions but like a PP said I do tend to tear out articles or coupons etc that I like to keep in folders for future reference.

Would it be worth it then to get the Nook color? FYI the magazines that I read are those trashy weekly ones but I enjoy them, it is my guilty pleasure.

But is it really worth it then for the Nook Color?
