Wish Me Luck! I'm on my way to get DS 5 his Kindergarten shots...Eek! Since he's Autistic he has no idea what he's in for :( . I am not sure if he just gets one or more but if it's more than one I'm afraid they'll have to hold him down or something. Brendan is way too strong for me!

Update: Well..we're back! He had to have 3 shots. After the first shot he just kinda looked irritated for a second. The nurse who was giving the shot decided we needed help for the remaining 2. So while he played with some toys she went to hunt down people. She found another nurse, but he was still too strong and too wiggly lol. They finally found a guy to hold his feet while myself and the nurse tried to hold the top half still so the other nurse could administer the shot. It was amazing that a 5 year old could put up such a fight with 3 people holding him down lol. While he certainly wasn't crazy about getting the 2 more shots he didn't scream or cry. He was just trying to wiggle away lol. I thought he did really well under the circumstance. :D

Good luck! Brittany got 4 plus a finger stick for a blood test!

She hollered & carried on after the dr told her she was getting them. Then, when the nurses came in, she held out her arm and didn't flinch a bit.

No more shots now till age 11!

Oh boy!!! I used to work with Autistic children and adults, and I completely get what you mean about his strength! Let them know ahead that you may need assistance!

My son got his 3 weeks ago and got 4. It hurt me more then him. I hope your son does ok for your sake.
