We are going to WDW in December and will be using Kindercare. I would like to hear from anyone who has used this service, what are your thoughts, etc. Childcare is included in our package and I would like to take a caregiver with us to the parks to help with our almost 3 year old. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We had kindercare come in to our vacation home. This was several years back (like maybe 6 years). They had a really good time. We were able to go out for New Years. Good luck. I hope it works for you.

Haven't used them to go to the parks with us, but we've gotten in-room babysitters twice. The first was fine, but nothing special. She brought some books and toys, and our daughter (2 1/2) said she had a good time with the lady. The second time (3 1/2) was really great. We stayed at the Boardwalk, and the sitter took DD out to the BW to get food, watch fireworks and get her face painted. When we mention going to a kids' club next time, DD wants to know if she can have a babysitter again.

Only used in-room Kindercare for past 5 years and love it. We only use them once a trip during a 10 day WDW vaca. We catch up on shopping, fine dining and a little drinking..........while our ds gets a true one on one playful evening. We have been able to request the same person and that makes it very special for both parent and child.

LauraJean, I would be interested in any recommendations you could make about specific caregivers. We are going to WDW over Christmas and I would love to request someone that has worked out for other DIS members. Could you message me with your suggestions? Thanks!

We have used the inroom Kindercare Service once for our then 3 1/2 yr old & our 3 mo. old!! (Was I crazy or what??? -- Mom sent us to V&A's for dinner, so I guess FOOD convinced me to leave my baby....:D

Anyway, our experience was great! My 3 y.o. had a great time. Our little baby decided 10 minutes after we left that she was hungry and refused the bottle the entire time we were gone....I think the sitter earned EVERY penny that night! Though the girl was young, she handled the upset baby situation very well.....

Bottom line, I would use them again!
