Kinder eggs online?

Not sure how many folks here are familiar with these but growing up my neighbor use to give my brother and I one at christmas time. She also gave one or two to my daughter whenever we were in MA.

SHe has since passed away but i wuold like to continue the tradtion to remember her by. Unfortuantely, it seems that these things are impossible to find. Anyone have any tips on where i can find some?

I lived in Germany when I was young and I love Kinder eggs! They have been banned for import into the U.S(small pieces inside aren't FDA approved); you can still buy them in Canada though.I wish I knew where to buy some! Let me know if you find the answer to this question. I'd love to stuff stockings with some yummy eggs

I MIL is from Rome and her family sends them for my son all the time. I also saw them in RI at an Italian bakery... Yummy!

How funny! One of my friends used to go to Canada to visit relatives every year at Christmas and he always brought them back to his friends. It was so much fun to get them (even though I'm a kid).

I found them at a few speciality grocery stores in CA and AZ... that carry imported items. But they are hard to come by. We thought the toyes were so great, that we bought some of the eggs (minus the chocolate) from ebay. Spend one new years eve with a bunch of kids putting the toys together.

Now if I can just find Tomi Ami (Japanese Candy with a toy) that we always got at Christmas time.

Glad i read all the posts as here in Canada we can buy them year round individually or by the case...at holidays they even have the large ones with a larger toy in the.....if anyone needs some i would be willing to help!!!

I've bought them in Toronto Canada, and Tijuana, Mexico when I've been traveling.

I'm not sure where you live, but in downtown Chicago there is a little German village set up every Christmas, and they sell the eggs in the candy shop!

I used to be obsessed with Kinder Eggs and bought them in Europe and Asia. I have three in my refrigerator just waiting for a special day to open up (doubt if I'll eat the chocolate though since they have been in there so long).

I've heard in the past you can get them by the case at Sams Club in Canada. I've also heard of them being spotted at World Markets in the USA and specialty stores. Ebay always has them too.

If your mall has a candy store check there. I bought some last year but haven't been recently. I used to work for a German company & the Germans used to bring them all the time for us. I love those things.

I wish I could help you out... they are in every supermarket here in The Netherlands... they are fun and my kids love them but don't get them very often!

The shiping to the U.S is really high, but it might be worth it if I can't find them anywhere else.

I'll go to Germany and pick some up for the low low cost of 1 RT plane ticket.

I handcarried over 2 dozen when I flew back from Germany while moving back to the State for my mom's 2nd grade class. They loved them.
