exactly. My boy is enthralled with kindereggs and the piece of plastic junk inside. There is some narcotic-like allure - for kids - of opening some mundane object to find a toy. Check out youtube... there are TONS of videos of adults wrapping toys in play dough and slowly peeling it away. Very weird; very odd. . . but my kids loves to watch them.

When we went on the cruise in July and found them at the Mega in Cozumel, the girl's were allowed to buy 10 of them. They took about 10 minutes figuring out which one's they wanted.. they were so selective after watching those dumb long youtube clips! lol!
We too bought a bunch for our boy in Cozumel, why? because of all the videos on you tube. It became his treat before bed each night. Just be aware that if you try to bring them back and are caught the penalty can be severe with a potential fine of up to $2500. Do I think the chance of being caught is great? no, but it’s not worth the $2500 risk for some chocolate and cheap toy.
Just a reminder if you think about bringing them back into the US and are part of Global Entry... getting caught with them (undeclared) is considered smuggling and you might lose your membership!
I am in Quebec and they sell them in every corner. They kids like them for the cheap toys but the chocolate isn't great. Atleast my little ones aren't very fond of it.
I bought something similar at Target, in the states, a few weeks ago. We got Frozen and Star Wars. I was surprised to find the toy in the capsule was just next to the egg, not actually in the egg.

In the US, you can't have a non-edible toy inside something edible. Or something like that. Choking hazard. Don't you hear of all the little Canadian children choking on Kinder eggs? No?
I LOVE Kinder chocolate. I think the white/milk chocolate combination is delicious.

Never heard about that? Im Canadian too. All I know is its not easter or Christmas without them. I personally love the chocolate soo tasty I agree the white chocolate adds a super yumminess.
I'm in Canada and my kids beg for them anytime we're at the grocery store or dollar store lol Reminds me, better get a couple for their stockings! Personally I think the chocolate is pretty gross but I know lots of people (my kids included) who love it

I was joking. It's a ridiculous law. The toys are encased in plastic shells. It makes no sense that children in other countries are perfectly fine and yet US children are apparently too fragile to eat them safely.
