Kinda strange question about AK dinig...

DD is vegetarian but will "go out on a ledge" and eat fish if she really has to.The only 2 decent restaurants at AK IMHO are Tusker House and Flame Tree. If she wants the salmon at TH and we want FT how far apart are they? If she goes to TH and we go to FT can we meet somewhere to eat together?THANKSJulie

They're pretty far apart. I'd say walk by Tusker House together, let her grab her salmon, then continue to FTBBQ and all eat together at the tables there.

Oddly, this is one of the tougher places to find a veggie meal. I usually end up w/the veggie sandwich at Tusker House. They will also make a plate of sides if she prefers.

I don't recall anything at Flame Tree, and waited at the Asian noodle stand for 20 min before realizing that they had nothing, either. A woman in line behind me gave me a few ideas since her friend was veggie - she suggested bread sticks at the Pizzafari!

Funny that the 'animal' park lacks 'animalless' meals! would love to hear any other ideas for veggie in AK. (not Rainforest Cafe, though, please)
