Hi everyone.

When you're planning for a vacation, it's weird what you get psyched about. For me, I've recently been looking forward to trying the Sunset Grill at HRH (probably simply because I'm longtime fan of the Eagles).

I imagine that my DW and I will just want to stop by for breakfast. I understand that they have a continental breakfast buffet. Has anybody here tried it? Is the continental breakfast any good? What kind of variety do they have? How's the atmosphere for breakfast?

Well, I guess I should have titled this post "...questions..." instead of just "...question..."

Thanks for reading! :D

I really liked the continental breakfast spread. The selection is ENORMOUS. If memory serves, it includes virtually everything you could have for breakfast except eggs and breakfast meats. INOW, you could have cereal and fruit in addition to an array of muffins, breads, croissants, etc.

The atmosphere of the Sunset Grill is very hip, very modern, very relaxed. There's lots of space between tables, too, which is nice. Also a great outdoor seating area overlooking the pool.

I loved the continental breakfast. You do have a huge selection. In fact, it is better than the one at the Portifino and 50 cents cheaper! :)

Barry and Kelly - Thank you both for your help.

Kelly- I don't know if you'll return to this post but I just wanted you to know that I'm the happy owner of three versions of your books. I have the first edition PDA version of your Universal book as well as "paper" versions of both the Universal and Other Orlando guides. This August will mark my second trip to IOA, but my first time to Sea World and Discovery Cove. Your books have really helped in the planning!

Wow! So you're the one who bought the PDA version. I was wondering who it was. ;)

Actually, someone else may have downloaded a copy but the sales were so few and far between that I decided against doing a PDA version of the second edition. It seems to be a neat idea whose time hasn't come quite yet.

How did you find using the PDA version? Was it easy? Helpful?

Kelly-

I downloaded the PDA version while experimenting with e-books shortly after purchasing my Palm Pilot. While I really love being able to store and have immediate access to all kinds of information on my PDA, I think that I prefer reading and purchasing the paper versions of books.

Generally speaking, I'd probably be more likely to purchase e-books in the future if they provided additional content than what is available in their paper version counterparts. If certain types of information are omitted from a book due to page limit constraints or because it quickly becomes out of date, than e-books might offer a good way to still get that information to readers. I also tend to miss the graphs, maps, etc. that might be in the "original" versions, but I guess that future software improvements to text readers will respond to this issue.

It also seems difficult to know just what books are available in e-format. I think that I learned about your PDA book on the Intrepid Traveler web site. Other than that, I'm not sure that I would have known to order it.

I've definitely found the PDA version to be both easy to use and helpful. Even though I have the new paper version, I still enjoy reading the PDA version when I'm stuck on a long train ride, etc. I suspect that the PDA version will be most useful and convenient when I'm actually on vacation in Florida. With the Universal book, the downloadable list of WDW menus from the Deb Wills web site and the WDW show schedule from the Steve Soares site all on my Palm Pilot , I feel that I will be well prepared…of course, I'm not sure that I'll want to bring my PDA with me onto Dueling Dragons or the Bilge Rat Barges! ;)
